Synopsis

As Mahadev attended to Parvati's adornment, Dashanan, driven by devotion, offered his heads one by one to the god. Indradev, upon hearing of Dashanan’s intense penance, grew alarmed. And so, seeking a reward for his piety, Dashanan beseeched Mahadev to grant him the honor of being declared his foremost devotee.
