Synopsis

Ganesha devoured every dish laid out for the feast, then demanded more. Kuber informed him, with growing distress, that the food was gone. A fury seized Ganesha; he proceeded to consume Kuber's entire wealth, and threatened to consume Kuber himself. It was upon seeking their aid that Kuber’s pleas drew Mahadev and Parvati to his palace.
