Synopsis

Narad carried the message from Daksha’s assembly to Shiva. The Lord was well aware of the sage's intentions, remarking that he could not be constrained by the duties of a householder. Narad departed, informing Nandi that Sati would bring about a change in all things. Meanwhile, Sati remained restless, haunted by visions of Ardhanarishvara, and resolved to deny herself sleep.
