Synopsis

As Shiva manifested in his full splendor, Prajapati Daksha scoffed, asserting his own superiority. Shiva vowed to shatter Daksha’s pride. In turn, Daksha directed his fury at Sati, accusing her of the affront Shiva had inflicted upon him. He demanded she choose between loyalty to her father and her devotion to Shiva.
