Synopsis

The storm raged around Sati as she stumbled through the forest, each gust of wind a mirror to the turmoil within her. Thoughts of Shiva, relentless and unwelcome, plagued her mind. Agitation flared, and she cried out, demanding that he release her from his hold, that he cease to dominate her thoughts. She would not allow him to triumph over her or her father. Turning from the wildness, she made her way back to the palace, resolving to complete the task that lay before her.
