Synopsis

As Krishna began to recount a story of Vidhyalakshmi, a sense of disruption fell upon the gathering. A shadow seemed to cross his face, and he faltered, the melody forgotten. Alakshmi, the goddess of misfortune, had intervened. The villagers watched, astonished, as the divine musician struggled to recall the notes, the flute momentarily silent in his hands.
