Synopsis

Krishna laid out for Radha the obligations expected of a daughter, his voice earnest and persuasive as he pleaded with her to dissolve their betrothal. A ripple of confusion spread through the assembled company when, shortly after, Krishna dismissed a venerable custom with a casual remark, leaving them all wondering at his unexpected disdain.
