Synopsis

The wreckage of a small plane lay scattered on Miami Beach, the pilot among the dead. Horatio discovered traces of chemicals used in cocaine production at the crash site, suggesting sabotage by the victim's business partner. Yet, evidence began to indicate the pilot might have perished before the aircraft went down. This led the team to investigate the pilot’s neighbors: affluent residents of a secluded cul-de-sac where desire, envy, and avarice fostered a climate ripe for murder.
