Synopsis

While investigating the death of a hunter shot near a controlled burn in the Everglades, Delko and Alexx find themselves nearly consumed by flames. The fire erupts unexpectedly, trapping them and forcing them to seek shelter beneath a tarpaulin. Later, a second body is discovered – a young woman bearing the marks of a brutal beating. The presence of bite marks on her chest leads Horatio to suspect a sex offender is responsible for both the attack and the wildfire.
