Synopsis

The consequences of transgression ripple outwards, often with devastating force. A teacher's illicit passion for a student carries a heavy cost; a killer is forced to confront the grieving parents of those he has destroyed in the courtroom; and a bound defendant chooses a defiant act of disrespect, a bitter message delivered through a single, contemptuous gesture.
