Synopsis

The Judge heard two cases this week. The first concerned a woman whose two puppies were stolen while in the care of a neighbor. She brought suit seeking compensation for the animals' value, as well as for emotional distress. The second case involved a man suing his former fiancée over the legal limit of ten thousand dollars for vehicle possession. His fiancée responded with a counterclaim for thousands of dollars she asserted she had invested in a wedding that ultimately did not take place.
