Synopsis

Working as a deckhand, Kimble finds himself caught in the middle of a union strike orchestrated by Joe Donovan, son of his employer, the weathered fisherman Tony Donovan. During a rally, Kimble, Tony, and several others are taken into custody. Released afterward, Kimble attempts to flee the town, fearing his secret will be exposed, but he is blocked at every turn.
