Synopsis

Kimble, a bartender at the neighborhood diner, finds himself drawn to Susan Cartwright, a waitress there. Their burgeoning affection is complicated by the arrival of Susan’s orphaned nephew, Gary, who is attempting to gain acceptance within a tight-knit group of local youths. When Gary recognizes Kimble from his childhood in Stafford, he reveals a potential opportunity, and together they decide to capture the fugitive, purchasing a rifle from an advertisement in a magazine. Simultaneously, Susan
