Synopsis

Kimble, a hospital orderly, is identified by Victor Leonetti and his wife Anne, who blame him for their daughter’s demise. He attempts to escape, but is shot and wounded, requiring immediate surgery. However, when Victor discovers Kimble had been trying to reach a specialist around the time of the girl's death, he seeks to atone. Confessing to Gerard, who arrives at the hospital, Victor reveals that he himself was responsible for Helen Kimble’s murder.
