Synopsis

Kimble found himself in a quiet town gripped by fear. A series of murders had cast a pall over the community, and suspicion festered. Arriving as an outsider, he quickly became the target of a vengeful mob who believed him to be the perpetrator. Seeking refuge, Kimble sought out Joanne Mercer, a young woman with learning difficulties. She, with an almost otherworldly sensitivity, took him in.
