Synopsis

Traveling aboard a small freighter bound for Alaska, Kimble finds his journey disrupted by the arrival of FBI Agent Paul Vale. Vale’s investigation seeks a Korean War criminal and traitor, and he begins questioning Kimble and the other passengers. He develops a particular suspicion toward Kimble, as well as George Banning and his wife Adrienne, who are fleeing the United States as embezzlers. The following day, Vale is found murdered. Captain Carraway then interrogates the remaining passengers,
