Synopsis

The forest fire had cut off all access to the local hospital. Kimble, now working as a farm laborer, resolved to risk exposure when he chose to assist in delivering a woman at the labor camp. News of Kimble’s act of kindness reached the press, and Gerard, hearing the report, became convinced that Kimble was the doctor who had been mentioned but never named.
