Synopsis

Kimble, a stock clerk at the department store, becomes a witness to a terrible event: his boss, Martin Rowland, inadvertently kills a business associate in the parking lot after closing. When Kimble discovers that a local vagrant discovered near the scene is the primary suspect, he anonymously calls Rowland, urging him to confess. However, Rowland and his wife, Ginny, interpret the call as an attempt at blackmail and hire Angstrom, the store detective, to identify the person behind it.
