Synopsis

Ashley Fallis' death on New Year's Day was first determined to be a suicide, and the investigation concluded by the Evans Police Department in 2012. However, Evans Police Chief Rick Brandt reopened the case in April of the following year, spurred by newly available witness testimonies and allegations that officers had improperly handled the initial inquiry.
