Synopsis

The town of Grand Junction, Colorado, nestled at the foot of the mesas that rise on the western slope of the Rockies, exists somewhat apart from the wider world. Yet, on June 4, 2002, a disturbing secret surfaced at the city's landfill. The remains of 34-year-old Jennifer Blagg were discovered, wrapped in a plastic tent of red and black. Jennifer and her six-year-old daughter, Abby, had vanished without a trace seven months prior. This is a report by Susan Spencer.
