Synopsis

"Why Did Josh Kill?" examines the 1998 murder of Maddie Clifton, an eight-year-old girl from Jacksonville, Florida, who was killed by her fourteen-year-old neighbor, Joshua Phillips. Phillips maintained the death had been accidental. He had concealed the girl’s body beneath his bed and was subsequently sentenced to life in prison for the crime.
