Synopsis

The documentary explores how 1990s streetball and the And1 Mixtape reshaped basketball culture. Late in the decade, a young New York City DJ, Set Free, conceived of pairing raw footage of streetball games with the rising sounds of rap music. This experiment yielded what would become known as the And1 Mixtape—a series of VHS tapes that fundamentally altered the landscape of basketball.
