Synopsis

The devastating floods of June 2013 submerged portions of the Siksika Nation reserve under ten feet of water, displacing a third of its people. Now, five and a half years later, the community continues to grapple with the disaster's repercussions, though a sense of closure is anticipated. In the interim, the Siksika people are drawing strength from their ingenuity, ancestral wisdom, and moments of resilience to find cause for celebration.
