Synopsis

Each year, hundreds of thousands seek enjoyment in Calabogie's ski slopes, raceway, scenic roads, and golf courses. Yet, those who reside here permanently have lacked a central industry since the 1960s, when the community thrived as a resource town. Consequently, those who wish to remain after recreation must typically piece together a series of jobs, establish a new enterprise, or commute from elsewhere.
