Synopsis

In Los Altos, California, Emily bids farewell to her father and welcomes Rodolfo, her fiancé and a native of Chile whom she met during a study abroad program in Santiago. While Emily feels a tremor of apprehension at leaving behind her familiar life and embracing independent living in a new city, Rodolfo anticipates the joy of purchasing a home—a place to build a future for himself and his bride.
