A career as a photographer in Portland, Oregon presents its challenges. Yet, a journey to Amman, Jordan sparked a sense of possibility for Brian’s aspirations to make photography his sole profession. And for his girlfriend, Julie, he believed the warmer climate of the Middle East would be beneficial.
