Synopsis

J.D. intends to demonstrate proper intern management to Dr. Cox and Dr. Kelso, only to discover his attempts at humor are met with nervous laughter born of deference. Jordan is largely ostracized by the hospital staff, with Turk being the notable exception. A clumsy effort to connect with her results in Jordan being taken advantage of by Sam, the addict. Meanwhile, Elliot's fellowship takes a turn for the worse, and she finds herself confiding in Carla, who is not known for her discretion.
