Synopsis

A growing chasm opens between J.D. and Turk; each attempt at connection is met with an echoing silence, leaving him feeling increasingly isolated. Meanwhile, Elliot finds herself in a sharp disagreement with Kelso over a casual term of endearment, and seeks counsel from Dr. Cox. J.D. and Elliot's burgeoning relationship is complicated by a ticking clock: he has just forty-eight hours to earn a kiss from her, or risk being relegated to the platonic "friend zone."
