Synopsis
The peace negotiations in Kaesong continue to stall, primarily due to the Communist insistence on maintaining the 38th Parallel as the sole boundary. General Matt Ridgway, commander of the UN forces, has requested reinforcements from the United States. Meanwhile, a degree of order is emerging from the disparate units as various brigades are coalescing into the 1st Commonwealth Division.
