Synopsis

In a determined advance, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army forded the Imjin River and launched an assault on the South Korean capital. The Eighth Army commander, Matt Ridgway, deployed his strongest units to defend the city, yet with successive waves of Chinese forces and newly organized North Korean divisions pressing from the east, the question remained: could the capital withstand the onslaught?
