Synopsis

This week sees the fall of Taejon to the relentless advance of North Korea, though the fighting there remains a maelstrom of chaos. Even the highest-ranking American general has been forced to seek refuge in the surrounding hills. Yet, two divisions of American reinforcements have arrived, and perhaps they can alter the course of the battle. The United States has also resolved to significantly increase its defense budget and conscript tens of thousands of men, a move that may prove decisive.
