Synopsis

This week marks the first direct engagement between American troops and the Korean People's Army – the forces of the North – on the Korean peninsula, and the initial encounters have been unfavorable for the Americans. The situation appears dire, with the U.S. forces significantly outnumbered and outmatched in weaponry, suffering substantial retreats. Despite incurring heavy losses, the KPA are making advances across the country.
