Synopsis

Thanksgiving of 1950 drifted by in the snow-swept north of Korea, and the following day saw the Eighth Army’s advance toward the Yalu River commence. It quickly became evident, however, that the Communist Chinese were prepared, their numbers exceeding even the most pessimistic projections of the United Nations forces. After weeks of cautious build-up and preparation, the two armies finally met in a decisive clash of full strength.
