Synopsis

This week marks the commencement of Operation Chromite by UN forces, an amphibious invasion targeting the port of Incheon deep within enemy territory. The operation faces considerable challenges, not least the formidable natural obstacle of one of the world's largest tidal ranges, which exposes vast stretches of mudflats in the approach. Concurrently, a UN counterattack is planned, intended to either break the Pusan Perimeter or, at minimum, to engage significant enemy forces in the south.
