Synopsis

Stardate 45122.3. Captain Picard initiates contact with the Crystalline Entity, a being implicated in the deaths of countless individuals across the Alpha Quadrant. Unbeknownst to him, a member of the Enterprise's scientific staff harbors a deeply personal motive for preventing any peaceful resolution; the Entity is responsible for the loss of her only child.
