Synopsis

Stardate 45733.6. Deanna’s mother arrived aboard the Enterprise unexpectedly, bearing news as startling as her appearance: she intended to marry a man she had never encountered. The crew’s efforts to deflect an asteroid were followed by a more insidious threat; microscopic parasites infiltrated the ship's structure, beginning a slow, corrosive consumption of the hull itself.
