Synopsis

In the wake of the March 2011 tsunami, a father and son, strawberry farmers in northeastern Japan, find their world shattered. Faced with ruin, the son makes the difficult decision to seek a new life in Hokkaido Prefecture, taking his family with him. Thus, two generations diverge onto separate paths, each fraught with hardship. While the son battles to thrive in an unfamiliar land and satisfy demanding markets, his father laboriously attempts to restore the devastated fields of their homeland.
