Synopsis

A hospital on the outskirts of Tokyo serves a diverse clientele: tourists, local laborers, and individuals residing in Japan without proper authorization. Dr. Asaka Tomomi oversees their care. Her prior experience as a surgeon working abroad led to her appointment as head of a newly established department dedicated to foreign patients. She now dedicates her skills not to the operating table, but to translation, fee negotiations, and liaising with embassies. Though often disheartened by the disc
