Synopsis

The Second World War left a trail of loss across Japan, leaving over 120,000 children orphaned. Many grew up without knowing their parents' names or faces. Honoko, now seventy-three, spent her formative years in an orphanage before finding a home with foster parents who offered warmth and affection. Yet, a persistent yearning for understanding her past remained. We follow Honoko as she journeys back to the places of her childhood, driven by a desperate need to uncover the truth.
