Synopsis

In Shingu City, nestled in western Japan, a centuries-old fire festival unfolds each year. Approximately fifteen hundred local men, clad in traditional white garments, descend a mountain path, their figures illuminated by the flickering light of sacred torches they carry. The spectacle transforms the night into a vibrant, moving tapestry of flame and tradition.
