Synopsis

On the Noto Peninsula, where the Sea of Japan crashes against the shore, winter winds relentlessly assail a small settlement sheltered by woven bamboo. Here, we encounter a woman in her eighties, one who meets the gifts of land and ocean with unreserved, practiced hands.
