Synopsis

The egg industry faces mounting challenges from avian influenza and escalating feed prices. In a farm nestled in Aichi Prefecture, a generational divide emerges between a father and son, their differing approaches to poultry farming creating deep friction. The father clings to traditional caged systems, while the son advocates for the more expensive, humane practice of cage-free raising. He hopes this film will initiate a necessary conversation, a means of finally articulating unspoken emotions.
