Synopsis

"I am the vine, and you are the branches." This familiar verse from scripture serves as a guiding principle for a group of young people, each bearing the mark of separation from their birth families – a consequence of circumstances that spanned abuse and poverty, leading them to a shared life in foster care. Even now, as adults, the bonds between them remain profoundly strong. This is the story of those who grew up in foster homes, earnestly striving to extend their roots into the wider world.
