Synopsis

The finals have begun, and from a field of forty bakers, only ten remain. Now, the first five quarter-finalists step into the Bake Off tent, each vying for a place in the semi-finals. Judges Allegra McEvedy and Nadiya Hussain have raised the stakes with increasingly challenging tasks, beginning with one of Nadiya’s recipes: mini orange and chocolate hazelnut dacquoise. And for the first time this year, the bakers must tackle pastry, crafting show-stopping savoury galettes.
