Synopsis

The morning light found Cleatus stepping out of his house for the newspaper, and there, resting against the door, was a wreath. The sight of it struck him with sudden fear, and he promptly fainted. His household gathered around him, offering comfort, convinced that he was near the end. But who placed the wreath there? The answer lies just beyond the surface.
