Synopsis

Fanny and Niko Grewe shared breakfast at a table set with care. The sudden wail of a siren shattered the tranquility, followed by the flash of blue light. They discovered a woman’s body in the garden. The deceased had been found by their neighbor, Marie Lehmann, who displayed little compassion for the death. Ulla Seifert, the woman who had stolen Marie's livelihood as a childminder, was the likely target of her resentment. Fanny Grewe, Ulla’s daughter, lay disoriented in her husband Niko’s arms.
