Synopsis

Brenda and her team were summoned to investigate the suspicious vanishing of a disreputable financial investor. The unit was currently operating with a degree of disarray: Daniels had transferred to another division, Gabriel was stretched thin managing multiple responsibilities, and Provenza’s behavior had taken on an unusually enigmatic quality. Simultaneously, Brenda and Fritz navigated the challenges of caring for a convalescing Kitty.
