Synopsis

The summer of 2007 began with promise for those traveling in French Polynesia. A journey from Moorea to Tahiti, a flight of approximately seven minutes, turned into a tragedy. Witnesses reported that Air Moorea Flight 1121, a de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, was ascending when it abruptly plunged towards the sea, disappearing into the waves and claiming the lives of all twenty people aboard.
