Synopsis

At thirty-seven thousand feet, Qantas Flight 72 was en route to Perth, Australia, from Singapore. The highly automated A-330, however, began to emit a cascade of conflicting warnings, and repeatedly plunged towards the Indian Ocean. Only the skillful piloting of a former fighter pilot averted complete disaster, though the peril remained. With nearly sixty A-330s operating worldwide, investigators face the urgent task of determining the cause of this incident before another tragedy occurs.
