Synopsis

In 1999, a private Learjet, carrying golf icon and current U.S. Open champion Payne Stewart, ascended from Orlando toward Dallas. Yet, within minutes, air traffic control lost all communication with the aircraft. The situation rapidly deteriorated as the plane embarked on an unforeseen course across the Midwest. United States Air Force F-16 fighter jets were dispatched to intercept the Learjet, only to find the pilots and passengers deceased. The sole enigma remained: what had transpired?
